GALLERIA DEGLI UFFIZI. I QUADRI RACCONTANO UNA STORIA. PAINTINGS TELL A STORY.

These educational programmes have been created through the partnership between the Soprintendenza Speciale per il Polo Museale Fiorentino and Fondazione Ferragamo, established in March 2013 with the aim to foster the younger generations’ awareness and appreciation of the quintessentially Italian tradition of artisanal know-how, which has historically encompassed art, fi ne craftsmanship, beauty, technique and innovation.
The museums involved in this fi rst edition include the Uffi zi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti, the Boboli Gardens, Chiesa di Orsanmichele and Museo Salvatore Ferragamo, where children and families may enjoy masterpieces of art, which are described in a language that even the youngest visitors can understand, and experience a real craftsman’s workshop.
