“Uffizi and Pitti | from Giotto to Caravaggio” represents one of the most important dissemination projects carried out by Mina Gregori, pillar of Italian art culture, art historian known and celebrated in the world and emeritus professor of Modern Art History at the ‘University of Florence.
Mina Gregori edited the volume, a work that presents textual interventions by a rich parterre of prestigious scholars including Antonio Paolucci, former Superintendent of the Polo Museale Fiorentino.
455 pictorial works are exhibited between the pages of the work, starting from the Tuscan painting of the thirteenth century up to the masterpieces of Caravaggio and the Caravaggeschi and therefore to the first decades of the seventeenth century.
